Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

@khani - Escalation is just a reference to sending an email after the 12 weeks asking for an update. Some people refer to it as an escalation. I emailed after 12 weeks and they emailed saying it's been processed (unofficial email) and it took 2 weeks after that for the offcial email to be sent for ...

Re: Spousal Visa Application - Pakistan (Timeline Only)

@stillwaiting123 the IHS refund link disappeared in week 12 and the whole process took 14 weeks. My online application was before the change so I paid the IHS separately. Hope this helps.

My wife had her biometrics on the 24th of July. She also had the text the same day stating forwarded but nothing since. I read it can take 2 weeks but this is approaching the 4th week! She submitted all the documents in Islamabad as the online application was 29th June.

Congrat Naila on your husband passing his English Test.

I am willing to keep the spreadsheet up to date but I would need the password as the document is protected. Does anyone apart from Shadow know the password?

I got married on the 25th of March and submitted 14th April and flew back on the 16th of April. Although your point is valid in saying I was still in Pakistan hence no necessitating the need for phone cards, my sister got married 2 years ago and her husband applied 2 months after being married after ...

@ Exquisit33

I only submitted photos of the 3 wedding days including Nikah and a few when we went out after our wedding some with my family in it and some just me and my wife. I submitted no other proof and submitted the application 3 weeks after getting married.

Thanks,

@Shadow - Yes settling in well, a little homesick understandably but getting used to the smaller hosues and lack of open space. My counter was to go to the local park, cheered her up :D

Congrats FaithHill! Patience is indeed a virtue!

Good luck to those waiting!

My wife is now with me in sunny (optimistic I know!) England

She came back with my dad and she was only asked at immigration for her TB Test certificate, no other questions asked.

Prayers for those still waiting :)

Congratulations Shadow, a long time in the making! The best way is to look at the potentially longest date eg. 12 weeks. When my wifes app was ready after 8 weeks I was still mentally expecting 2nd week of July so was even happier that it was already ready for colelction. The hardest part is the ...

@ Shadow86 - I know, my solicitor said it wasn't a problem as I have been their for 18 months odd and had the payslips to correlate my bank statements so temping wasn't an issue. He saw my overdraft as an issue because I was regularly within £20 of the £1000 a few months before going away to get ma ...

I will wait for a confirmation but as long as the Nikah Nama has been translated to English and attested by the Union Council it will be fine. @ mgsBoy86 - I feel your pain, costs a fortune to call mobiles! I use Lyca and have had to top £20 a week and usually get 3 calls and a lot of texts from it.

@ skah786 - I'm glad someone appreciated that, from a guess I would say you are female, right?
