Re: Good Character? My husbands situation - please help!

Thank you for the replies so far. Vinny - That information gives me some hope. When the fiancé visa was refused, we appealed and I went to court. I was in there for literally 2 minutes and didn't have to say a word before the judge ruled that the HO decision was unfair and they didn't have a leg to ...

Are online printed payslips acceptable?

Hi, All of my husbands payslips from the last 12 months are online. Would printed copies of these be acceptable? I only ask because I remember our solicitor telling us a couple of years ago when we applied for the spouse visa that online bank statements and bills etc would not be accepted and we had ...

Re: Missing P60 Solution (Updated)

I requested work histories for both me and my husband by phone as neither of us have a P60. My husbands have come through today but only shows national insurance contributions. Is that correct? Is that we all we need to replace P60?

Question regarding life in the UK test

My husband passed his life in the UK test around 2008 when he made a previous application for ILR. He will shortly be applying again and I was wondering if his certificate is still valid? There does not appear to be an expiry date on it but I know the test has changed since then. Also, does anyone ...

Preparing ILR application - a few questions

1. My husband took the Life in the UK test several years ago when he made an ILR application with his previous wife. Does he need to retake it for our current application? Is my fiance allowed to do any work without permit?

My fiance recently arrived in the UK on a fiance visa. Currently he does not have permission to work. However, I was wondering if he was allowed to have a small cash in hand job such as dog walking or general handy work. He was thinking of making a small advert for himself and displaying it on our ...

Recently won appeal for fiance in India - what happens next?

Hi I had to attend a court appeal 19.3.12 for my Fiance who's visa was initially refused last year. 3 weeks after this, I received confirmation that I had won the appeal and my Fiance would be granted the visa. I understand that the UKBA then had 28 days to appeal the judges decision. My solicitor ...

Basically, he was interviewed for the fiance visa application. In his interview, he was asked when his previous marriage broke down. Types of questions asked at interview?

Hi,

I'm applying for a fiance visa for my partner in India. I was just wondering what kind of questions they might ask us if we have to be interviewed. I want to make sure we are both prepared as I have no idea what to expect when we make this application.

Thank you
