Well I sent back my son's certificate of naturalization to UKBA the very next day and also requested our local MP to write a letter of support as we needed to travel within 4 weeks. The amended certificate was received today (12 working days).

Do you think I can speed the process up with a letter of support from our local MP??

Or should I risk it and apply for the passport and include a letter to IPS explaining the error.

My son was born in november 2011 and we got our ILR in December 2011. Sorry its not naturalization but we applied for his registration in Februry 2012 and just received the certificate (with the wrong name) by post today.
