I was hoping someone might be able to help--my dad used to live in the UK in the 1970s and has ILR since 1976. He is now 64 and wants to come to live in the UK with me.

My mother in law just called me at work to say I've received my brown envelope!
I applied on 13th June as a spouse of BC.
Hopefully the rest of the June people will get their letters soon too now!

I called up UKVI and the guy on the phone was very nice. He gave me a postal address to write to and said they should reply within 10 working days.
Anyone has experience with writing a letter to them? Do they get back?

Since the application was done 13th June, they may not answer you until 13th December or later .... Even with British passport I think u need visa for Australia anyway so you may be able to transfer it over if BC approval comes before.
