Life in the UK Test

Dear All,

I am on Teir 1 General before April 6 2010.

I am due to apply for my ILR to remain shortly. I want to know when it's required to do the life in the UK test. Can i do it anytime or there is a minimum and a muximum time frame?

I posted my application on the 5th January, The money was taken the following day but I have not as yet received an acknowledgement letter!

My concern is, what is they've sent it with the biometric letter and it's lost? :-(

will they send it again?

No acknowledgment of receipt!

Hi All,

I sent my application on the 9th of January 2012. The payment has gone through my credit card but as date, I have not rceived any letter from Home Office that they have my application.

Is this usual?
Can I call them? if yes on what number please?

Hello All,

All my documents are ready for submission. I was told yesterday by a friend that I can only submit it 28 days prior to the exparation of my visa.

Is this true?
