Thanks guys I just wanted to make sure. Also, do I need to put into the form any absences (holidays, business trips, etc.) less than 3 months when I apply for ILR?
Dear All, I have a basic question regarding ILR eligibility. - I was granted with HSMP visa on 12 May 2003 - I entered UK 17 Aug 2003 - My wife entered UK 01 Oct 2003 - We have been in the UK since then except short vacations and business trips abroad - When will I (we) be eligible to apply for ILR ...
Actually I checked earlier posts. One of the guys was 5 months away from the UK. He got a letter from the employer stating it was a business requirement and then he got his ILR without any problem.
I have had HSMP visa for 2 years. I work as a permanent employee for a consulting company. My employer wants me to undertake a role in Australia for 3 months. As far as I know I can only leave the UK 6 months within 4 years to get ILR. Even if my employer is in the UK and I get paid in the UK does t...
No she is in her mother's passport. However the logic behind the UK driving licence indicates that you are a resident in the UK. We can prove this showing her UK resident visa on her mother's passport. In other words, isn't it possible to enter the UK using our passports with UK residency visas then...
Thanks Smit. My wife and I have UK driving licenses. If we are able to fly to Ireland then, what document do I need to take my child who is 5 yrs old with us?
1. Can we go to Switzerland and/or Ireland as a visitor without any visa?
2. Can we work in Switzerland and/or Ireland as a contractor for 6 months or less?
I got an extension to my HSMP last year. A few months ago I moved my house. Should I let Home Office know of this change even if I am not expecting to receive any documents from them? (I don't know if they will send me a letter near the end of my extension though)
Just wanted to say that they haven't sent the documents back where I told them to send in my cover letter. They sent my home address. Luckily that day my wife was sick home
My child attends a private nursery and I received a letter from the nursery that my child is eligible for 3-year old funding. Is this a public fund that I cannot use under HSMP visa?
Thanks Chess. These are the docs I sent to Cannock: - Covering letter - FLR(IED) + pics - Passports - No money (Turkish citizen) - Pay slips + my wife's pay slips - Employment letter (useful I think - shows my job/seniority and area of work) - Marriage cert - Birth cert (my child) - Bank statements ...
Dear All, I would like to let you know about the timing for HSMP extension. There are timing info for new HSMP applications but I haven't seen any specific one for the extension. Here is what I experienced: - Sent my docs via Special Delivery on April 13 - Got an acknowledge letter from HSMP on Apri...
I started to work in a senior role after 1 month I came to the UK. Also my wife works in a senior position. The salary I am getting is the same as I predicted in my first HSMP application. I think my application is a straight forward one but we'll see.
I just wanted to put my work address since no one will be home to pick up the returning documents. Neither much safe to leave them outside the door nor wishing them to be returned to to the post office.
I would like HSMP to return my documents to a different address than my home address;however, there is no section for this as it is in FLR(O) which is the previous form for HSMP extension. Should we state this in the cover letter?
In the FLR(IED) form, it states that: ... HSMP applicants should have received an approval letter from the HSMP Team, Home Office. If you have not received approval for an IED, your application for further leave to remain in the UK will be refused... I am about to apply for my extension;however, I h...
