Re: About to apply ILR in Jan, but i'm made redundant

You won't get a curtailment notice immediately. Also, curtailment only applies to those who have a visa valid for more than 60 days. You do not have that, your visa would be valid for less than 60 days so nothing to curtail to 60 days. If you don't apply for a new skilled worker before your visa ...

Re: IHS fees for pbs dependent extension

If your partner has ilr, the skilled worker visa has been cancelled and therefore doesn't exist. Given that your partner under a different username has also been asking questions, it would have been beneficial to ask first before submitting. Also, multiple usernames are not permitted, especially ...

Re: IHS fees for pbs dependent extension

Ypu should have put a date 3 years in the future to get the correct ihs fee to pay.

Ukvi will likely ask you to pay the extra ihs. It could delay your application.

Re: Skilled worker Dependent extension VISA and IHS surcharge

1. It is a 3 year extension. You cannot apply for only 1 year.

2. You put an end date 3 years in the future.

3. You can't apply for a 1 year visa. The immigration rules state it is 3 years if rhe main visa holder has ILR.

Re: Spouse visa for people who got married a few months after meeting each other

It is a Skilled Worker dependent visa not a spouse visa. They are two different visa with different rules. There is no financial or english requirement for a Skilled Worker dependent visa. You are required to provide evidence of subsistence relationship. Expect scrutiny from UKVI for a depednent ...

Re: Extension or ILR application as family?

one is 19yrs. While this is not an answer to your queries on the ILR applications, be aware that, post ILR, dependency of children on the parents for immigration comes to an end. Indeed, the immigration process terminates at ILR and each person will have an independent ILR status once granted. If ...

I heard that we can apply for the private life visa once she completes 7 years of UK residence and then ILR. No, you 'heard' incorrectly. She continues on her current visa. Private Life route is not an easy route. Private Life ILR requires your daughter to have a the relevant private life visa for ...

Re: dependant visa query

Your daughters date of birth is irrelevant. Presumably she was born abroad and has NOT spent 10 years in the UK?

If your wife gets ILR, your daughter does not qualify for ILR based on her dependent visa until YOU qualify for ILR or your daughter reaches 10 years legal residence.

UKVI know you are the sponsor (spouse who is British or with ILR). You do NOT need a letter telling them that!! NO, you do NOT submit family event photos for ILR. There is NO requirement or need to do this. They will be ignored. Evidence of subsisting relationship is ONLY your 2 years cohabitation ...

but were surprised that the passport was only scanned, not sent to the HO with the application. is this the new norm now? If your visa is more than 3 years, then yes, that is the fee you pay for your child. Their application and fees are based on your CoS and visa duration, regardless of how long you have been in the uk.
