Re: Spouse visa for people who got married a few months after meeting each other

It is a Skilled Worker dependent visa not a spouse visa. They are two different visa with different rules. There is no financial or english requirement for a Skilled Worker dependent visa. You are required to provide evidence of subsistence relationship. Expect scrutiny from UKVI for a depednent ...

The same advice you were given in 2023 stands currently. Children cannot ilr if your wife is not also applying for ilr.

Re: Extension or ILR application as family?

one is 19yrs. While this is not an answer to your queries on the ILR applications, be aware that, post ILR, dependency of children on the parents for immigration comes to an end. Indeed, the immigration process terminates at ILR and each person will have an independent ILR status once granted. If ...

Re: dependant visa query

I heard that we can apply for the private life visa once she completes 7 years of UK residence and then ILR. No, you 'heard' incorrectly. She continues on her current visa. Private Life route is not an easy route. Private Life ILR requires your daughter to have a the relevant private life visa for ...

Re: dependant visa query

Your daughters date of birth is irrelevant. Presumably she was born abroad and has NOT spent 10 years in the UK?

If your wife gets ILR, your daughter does not qualify for ILR based on her dependent visa until YOU qualify for ILR or your daughter reaches 10 years legal residence.

Re: ILR Information request.

UKVI know you are the sponsor (spouse who is British or with ILR). You do NOT need a letter telling them that!! NO, you do NOT submit family event photos for ILR. There is NO requirement or need to do this. They will be ignored. Evidence of subsisting relationship is ONLY your 2 years cohabitation ...

Re: ILR Information request.

I was wondering the document I would need to include for ILR under spouse visa route, do I need to provide 5 years worth of evidence of travelling, correspondence letters or 2.5 years since the spouse visa extension was done. You do NOT have to submit evidence of travelling. For absence, you submit ...

but were surprised that the passport was only scanned, not sent to the HO with the application. is this the new norm now? This has been the case for many years now, likely even the same when you applied for FLR(M) extension. Originals have not been sent to UKVI since roughly late 2018. Does this ...

If your visa is more than 3 years, then yes, that is the fee you pay for your child. Their application and fees are based on your CoS and visa duration, regardless of how long you have been in the uk.

Re: Travelling to Europe - Parents Skilled worker visa, kids BRP invalid not expired

Your skilled worker visa was cancelled when you were granted a dependent visa. So your children's visas are linked to no main visa now because you no longer have your own skilled worker visa. Who knows what immigration will do or say but they will have all the information available to them and will ...

5 Day Priority has never been available for spouse visas. Also not suspended, but available based on capacity.

Only standard and Super Priority options for spouse visa holders.

Your kids visas are dependent on YOU being sponsored on a Skilled Worker visa. If you are not sponsored anymore by an employer, you should have changed their visa to your spouse dependent.

She needs to meet the English B1 requirement. It is mandatory for ILR. She is not exempt unless from an English speaking country on the exempt list.

English B1 and LIUK is mandatory for all routes to ILR except refugee route.
