Re: Still waiting

bob-russell, you have said exactly what I was going to say! If only they could clearly explain (in a document on the website somewhere) and indicate the different stages in processing. E.g. Stage 1: Received application, Stage 2: Payment cleared, Stage 3: Reviewing applications, Stage 4: Checking ...

Re: Anxious and waiting

Hello ORafi - have you done your biometrics yet? I've been reading on some forums which say that having done your biometrics doesn't necessarily mean the application is okay, everybody has to do it. I Donno about biometrics cos I sent my application one day before biometrics became compulsory.. But ...

Re: Anxious and waiting

I sent off my SET (M) on 15 February but exactly a month later got all my documents returned to me saying I have used the wrong form. They refunded my fee. Used the updated form with biometrics section and sent everything off again on 19 March. Acknowledgment letter received on 20 March and payment ...

ILR postal applications are taking approx 3 months to process at present. Casa, thanks for that info. Are they taking 3 months for Set M specifically or is it the same for set O etc? Also if you submit an outdated form does the timeline start from scratch when you re-send the correct form? I ...

Hi oRafi! I think with the settlement checking service, it doesn't make the wait any shorter, but it did give me that link between myself and my visa application, which really puts my mind at ease. You applied on the 28th Feb, a day after me, and as i understand, we applied JUST before the ...

Hi there, you are i are pretty much in a similar situation. a friend of mine got her ILR in 3 weeks so i went ahead and posted my application without doing any research.. (to top it off i made the grave mistake of submitting an outdated form and had to resubmit it!) aside from kicking myself ...

Hi all, I thought I should share my timelines with you. Mine is a pretty straight forward case but I had submitted an outdated form by mistake. UKBA then asked me to submit the correct form (they said i just needed to send the form and that new documents were not required) ILR Set (m) ILR posted ...

ILR (Set M) - issue and processing time

Hi everyone, I would greatly appreciate some advice. I applied for the ILR under Set (M) by post on 24th Jan 2012. I recieved the acknowledgement letter and the money was deducted from my account the following week. Unfortunately i submitted an outdated form (version 04/11 instead of 10/11) and on ...
