Re: Arrested/Charged - ILR query- Plz help!!!

The fact that you were not prosecuted is a very positive thing as all crimes proved are prosecuted so clearly there was something not entirely correct about your arrest. Complete and utter nonsense [/quote] Patagonian there is no need to be rude. I happen to have a solid background in law so ...

Re: Hi

This is really odd VeeTee... they let me in yesterday. If you haven't already read my post find it here - http://www.immigrationboards.com/viewtopic.php?p=638017&highlight=#638017 If it helps the security manager, Jane, was the one who let me in. Maybe you could ask to speak with her as she arranged ...

Re: Arrested/Charged - ILR query- Plz help!!!

If the police took fingerprints.... these may show up. I suggest doing an in-person application at the PEO and not doing the postal route when your time comes. Then you can explain everything on the day to the case worker. The fact that you were not prosecuted is a very positive thing as all crimes ...

Thanks mjmani.

I keep pinching myself... doesn't feel real!

As I said before if you have the time go to the Croydon office as since they are working through the back-log anyway and not taking on anyone new you have a chance to have a face-to -face.

Good luck!

Hi Lizzier, Believe me I feel for you, having spent a few sleepless nights myself! You're absolutely right, it was very quiet not many people (and not many case workers at the windows either!) As I said I just got very lucky. If there are 300 files pending froma ny given day its a long wait. They're ...

Re: Set O Section 6 Incorrect!

Thanks Umerazair. I do feel quite encouraged after what everyone including yourself have said. I went for the PEO application as I thought I stood better chance face-to-face but ofcourse that never happened. What's really annoying is that if you call up the General enquiries line every one tells you ...

Thanks very much linkers. I'm sure it's not the worst mistake ever made but you know how it is.... you can't stop worrying about it. Also I think the fact that every case-worker seems to work differently doesn't help. Some are attentive while others can't be bothered. Ah well... will just have to ...

Re: ILR SECTION 6 incorrectly filled in

I certainly hope so.

I feel like I've been cheated of £1377... They took the payment and then said they couldnt do a same day decision as the system was down.

Ofcourse if it was face to face this wouldn't be an issue as I could rectify the situation immediately.

Anyway thank you for answering!

Re: ILR SECTION 6 incorrectly filled in

Hi Selva, Because this isn't a postal application. As far as I'm aware unless the HO request for additional info/documents there's no point sending it in. You're told to send in everything to the Liverpool address and by the time its re-routed to Croydon the decision will probably have been made. I ...

Set O Section 6 Incorrect!

Hi all, I recently visited the Croydon PEO for my ILR application as tier 2 migrant on the 25th of April. There were IT issues - have read a lot about these lately - and I left my documents with the caseworker after having my biometrics taken. Only problem is I discovered afterwards that in section ...
