Re: FLR (M) Section 7

Dear Ahyang0129, Brother this is my last question to you that is whether my wife get a visa under FLR(M) when we r going there this week at PEO. Thanks a lot Ahyang0129, we are going before 5th April 2014. Hope this work for her. So you are 100% sure that we don't need to fill in Section 7A on FLR(M) Form? What about Section 7B As I had no income but we always get money from back home & my wife just finished her grauation & she just work ...

Re: FLR (M) Section 7

We got an appointment soon one of the PEO just before 6th April, but on 284(b) it's clearly written this rule apply for all PBS dependants apart from Tier4 & Tier5 dependants. this is a misunderstanding. please read the current para. 284 carefully. para 284 (i) (before 6 apr 2014) allows holders of ...

Re: SET(M) application has not been accepted to Proceed

you just fill out SET(M) form normally. your cover letter should state that 1. you are now applying for settlement based on the immigration rules para. 287. 2. your FLR(M) was granted before 6 apr 2014 and under para. 284: your previous pbs dependent visa was issued before 9 july 2012 and was valid ...

Re: 10 years long residence applications

Thank you, ahyang0129. Is it possible to get the General visitor visa and than to apply for 10 years residence? I have got some doubts regarding our chance to prolong Tier 1 on February 15, 2015. Or any other options, please advice. My first visa was issued on January 11, 2005 -> I arrived on April ...

Re: SET(M) application has not been accepted to Proceed

1. they didn't make a mistake when issue the FLR(M) to your wife. they made the mistake when refusing her application for SET(M). the thing is the reason they make the mistake in the latter is also the reason they mistakenly think they made a mistake in the former... (sorry if this sentence is a bit ...

Re: SET(M) application has not been accepted to Proceed

another thing is that para 284 simply does not prevent dependents of tier-4 or tier-5 from switching to FLR(M) as long as their visa are valid for longer than 6 months. please read carefully the current 284 (i) (due to change on 6 apr 2014). the text in the IDI you quote simply makes no sense.

Re: SET(M) application has not been accepted to Proceed

you need to fill section 7A only if you're on 5 year route, and for this route the 5 year probationary period starts from the date you get FLR(M). i believe they made a mistake and IDI is not the proper legal ground. immigration rules para 319AA clearly defines what is a Relevant Points Based System ...

Re: FLR (M) Section 7

if the period of validity of her FLR(M) BRP is 24 months then it is an indication that her FLR(M) was issued under para 284. once she reaches this stage 287 (a)(i)(d) applies in her case. there's no hurry to apply for SET(M) before 6th Apr 2014. Hi Appreciated for your quick reply, My wife just ...

Re: FLR (M) Section 7

She needs to apply for FLR(M) right now before the rules change. Ideally a PEO, maintenance section only as should be considered under Part 8. A1 English required. As soon as FLR(M) is granted, apply for SET(M) under 287(a)(I)(d), B1 English and LIUK Required. Hi Amber..I have clear from your last ...

It seems that she does not qualify under the old rules.By the way what old rules statement?
