Finally......finally I have got my approval yesterday...aound 22weeks of painful wait is finally over.

All the best to the guys waiting....it seems they are despatching the results one by one now.

From what I gather, it takes about 2 months from application to biometric letter. And then a further 2 months approximately, from biometric appointment, to letter of approval. Anyone else think that sounds right, on average? I agree with you. I also think that this is happening It's been 12weeks ...

It looks past couple of weeks are really slow in terms of decision making as there are not many approvals.

Is there anyone new received their BRP/documents back who applied during April/May time?

Hi just an info. as I was informed by someone that more you try to contact HO by various means (such as MP, etc.) to push your application more they will delay it. Don't know how much of it is true or false!!

UPDATE : just spoke to someone at the enquiry line. Letter was sent out at the end of August already! So, lost in the post? Anyway, they have sent a request for it to be resent. I'm a (Set-O) I also sent mine on 20th of april. I done my Biometrics at post office on 29th of June and have not heard anything back since and I'm very desperate I have so many flights booked for work but can't leave the country grrrr Same here buddy.....new job offers arrived with much better ...

Is there any possible delay happening due to Olympic (some rumours I heard)! Has anyone crossed 4-8weeks period and still waiting? Yes, but a straightforward case like mine FLR(O) with 5 years of WP, how long this could take. I do not know any reason for this long....long duration, neither there is any update also.
