The real question is - Does HO need HMRC confirmation?

My real question and concern is - Does HO need HMRC confirmation that you have been paying taxes?
Is payment of taxes and NI one of the conditions for Naturalisation?

Help guys,
I am applying for ILR soon, but my number of says outside UK in 5 yrs is now more than 180 days; actually about 195 days. I am including letter from my employer for all the days outside UK on official assignment,
Will this affect my application?

Thanks cs95TDG... one more question pls... is it possible to get an PEO appointment for FLR T1 G extension within a couple of weeks (maybe by going through a solicitor) as its so difficult to get a PEO appointment within 6 weeks!
I need to travel out of UK.

The whole thing is very confusing.
