First of all, it is not compulsary that all family to apply at once. But there is a chance that if you called for interview, you have to justify your stand by giving valid reason. You can say them that, they will be joining you very soon after a month or two. Never tell them, more than 3 months ...

Now we have to travel India urgently, and even if I book an appointment with Homeoffice for personal interview(to get his visa), it is two weeks away. Just wondering, whether he can ...

John,
Thanks for the correction.
Yeh, it is the choice of immigration officer. If someone is visiting first time, at Heathrow they do the tests.

But at Manchester, I just walked out..:-). They didn't even asked for chest X-ray .

Did you check the other members post with reply from home office? I couldn't get that link now. HomeOffice is very picky in awarding points in Specialist and Seniority roles. Better showing all kinds of documents to prove it. Even though I scored 110 without considering the specialist role, they ...

Don't think so. If you are carrying an X-ray, in some port of entries they leave. But in some places you will be tested at the airport which may not take more than 10 mins in general.

But I am sure, it is not compulsary.

Ok friend.
I heard they opened a new office to meet the over flooded requirement and that caused the confusion.

Level4 and Level3 are the old addresses and they still accept the documents.

So, nothing to worry.

Gunjan....you can relax now.
