best thing is to phone them and explain the situation.

Also try this email: Citizenship.Support@homeoffice.gsi.gov.uk

They usually respond within a week. At least that happened in my case.

Passport signature

passport office are returning my application on the basis that my signature is not "legible", what the heck does that mean?

Does someone know what they mean by this, as their operator has no clue at all. really frustrating. Do I have to write my name instead of signing it?

When did you actually receive it? My approval letter was dated 12th October and I received it on 19th October. I rang the council straightaway and was told that they had not received the paperwork from UKBA and ring back the Monday (22nd October), which I did and was then able to book my ceremony ...
