dependents get the same rights as the main applicant. they don't HAVE to study either. you should know that london met cannot issue any CAS until further notice so if you apply to LSBF studying MSc, you will come under a LSBF CAS which means no working rights. if your dependents are overseas, they ...

i suppose if it goes towards the tuition fees then it can be classed as a deposit. but the way you put it sounds like you are charging £1000 just for a number!

i am sorry to ruin your thread, it's only for the benefit of the forum members but CASs from many schools are free of charge!

Tuition fees + correct maintenance = Free CAS.

Full ACCA (14 papers) is a NQF Level 7 programme so it is an above degree level programme which can be counted towards the 5 year limit. Whether it's a professional qualification is irrelevant. They only look at the course level. On this basis i am afraid they made the correct decision.

in that case it's counted towards the 5 year limit and you have exceeded the limit. if you wish to apply for a tier 4 again, it must be a masters/PHD programme in a gov funded institution.

it looks like you only have other tiers as your options.

you can check this on the CAS letter that was issued to you.

it should state the length of the course and the NQF level.

the 5 year limit is imposed on courses at NQF level 5 and above.

sorry i wasnt quite clear.

as you may know you can only study a level 7 course for 5 years (unless it's a masters degree/PHD in public funded institution).

if the ACCA course you did was level 7, you may already have exceeded this limit, therefore cannot apply for a Tier 4 again.

any studies done on a PSW is not counted towards the 5 year rule, it is a possibility to apply for a Tier 4 after your PSW in 2014.

you would have to show higher maintenance because you didn't complete the course.

You can have a chance to do the course again providing you haven't exceeded the 5 year limit. however the decision is with the school whether to issue you with a CAS due to your lack of progression.

their decision to refuse you was correct because you failed to make a valid application. you shouldnt have wasted your money and time with the appeal and just make a fresh application.

as the CAS will be issued for the course as a whole, e.g. ACCA first 8 papers is rated at NQF level 5, but if a student booked full 14 papers (rated at level 7) and get a CAS to cover the whole course, the whole course is counted towards the 5 year limit, disregarding that they will be studying ...

i dont think that will ever happen, think of the amount of students that will be affected. as above, as of today, you can still extend within the UK.

If you are concerned, you can always apply in March.
