I need to make a claim for jsa, i am british and my partner has no recourse to public funds, i did this before a couple of years ago when we couldn't find any work and was paid the single persons rate, the problem is i cant remember how i approached the issue when making the claim on the phone ...

My partner has NO Recourse to public funds but is currently ill and unable to work the doctor has signed her off , is statutory sick pay (ssp) a public fund? if she receives this money will it affect future immigration applications?

She will need to aoply for 3 more sets of FLR (FP) to get the 10 years residence needed for ILR. However, if you are earning up to 18600, she could switch to 5 years route now, and speed up her ILR . My friend was told today when he contacted the electoral services in his area that his partner was NOT eligible to vote in either local or general elections, yet she is a commonwealth citizen and has leave to remain in the uk are they trying it on should he make a complaint?

Entry Level 3 ESOL is equivalent to B1 English. Is ESOL LEVEL 2 Higher than Esol entry level 3? (home office requirement) because the person at the collage has said my partner would be more suited to this course. We have just received our WTC its a joint claim it includes the second adult element is this ok? its not going to cause us any problems is it? as stated before we already claim CTC jointly

Now that my partner has 2 and a half years leave to remain in order to apply for indefinite leave to remain at the end of this period will she need to have taken either the life in the uk test or esol equivalent level to submit with the application?.

I am not working but am looking after our child, we already receive CTC joint claim (me as the main claimant due to her having no recourse to public funds) do you mean like that amber? Am i right in thinking as long as its a joint claim because ie i have access to public funds ie British citizen ...

Passport not returned what do i do?

A few weeks ago my partner received her BRP Limited leave to remain but still has not received her passport back which was confiscated by the ukba in an unsuccessful FLR(O) application, before our successful FLR(FP) application.

What should i do should i wait 6 months? i don't know what to do?
