If you have annual House Tax (Property Tax) document then it should do. These days they are both in local and English language. Hope this helps.

I noticed VFS is charging £1.50 by default for SMS (text) service. I think that is optional and while paying we should ask them to take off as I have email and online to check current status.

I don't think it would a problem if you take impression of left thumb on printed application form. I do not think they have any mechanism to compare thumb impressions.
