Sorry to hear that lucky123; but it seems to be a mistake/misunderstanding so I would go for an unpaid review first. However note that if you earned part of the last 12 months' income in a country and the other part in another country, points are not allocated "only" according to the lower band ...

send your additional docs along with a cover letter. Mention your reference number and that you want the docs to be linked to your file. Be quick, you have to do this before your case is assigned to someone.

Well as far as I learned from various posts, points for specialist role is especially tricky and I would be misleading you if I made a comment on this. As for the income proof, slips and bank statements should be ok. ("for example, if you do not submit income tax returns, then wage slips together ...

Just copying my reply in the other thread to help others who try to find the same info:

it's 0114 259 1894, the greeting they use when they open the phone is "HSMP", I think it's the real number. You'll have to redial at least a few times though, that's for sure.

narveer, as per hsmp guidelines, "You do not necessarily have to hold a degree but the post held would normally require one." so you seem to be on the safe side with your detailed letters. However, there is no guarantee to that and I personally would wait 1-2 weeks to include any documentation that ...

did you receive your decision? If not it's actually not an appeal and you don't have to pay anything to send additional docs. However, if your case is already assigned to a caseworker, HO might not take your additional docs into consideration.

That is very interesting, I'm unfortunately not able to comment on that.. As for the experience letter, a sentence like A bachelor’s (or master's) degree in computer engineering was required to fulfill the responsibilities of these positions. might help. Also you can try to make it a little bit less ...

Just a quick question, did they count your current experience as graduate and your experience prior to that in the same company as non-grad??

Zeke my friend, you have to trust an organization of the country that you want to migrate into. I wouldn't blackout anything in any document, as it may arise interesting questions in people's mind.

IMHO, they didn't consider it non-graduate level exp just because of this letter. Is your degree relevant to this? Is the salary high enough to differentiate you from the non-grads? Are you doing something similar right now and/or have you been promoted? I would ask a job advert for a similar ...

hi lucky123, Well the officer that I spoke told me that they were going to send it on Friday - the day I spoke to them. If it's an in-country application, it will probably take only 2-3 days until your decision letter reaches you. I know that it's difficult to wait. Good luck and all the best; let ...

don't worry, it's true that it would have been better but if your employer letters are properly prepared, they'll normally cover what's on your CV's experience section. The other parts are included in the HSMP application form anyways..

I don't see any reason to send the old documents. Isn't this a new application?

As for London address, I am not sure if they are going to send the decision letter to your friend's address. I had looked for this info myself but there are different cases; probably it depends on your caseworker.

How does the HO contact you?

It might seem trivial but how does HO normally contact you in case they need something from you or once they make a decision etc?

Is it only through post or do they also use e-mail by any chance? (It does matter especially if you're living in a country with a bad public postal service.)
