Alhamdulillah my wife got her visa granted on 1st may but we found out today (2nd may)!! Shes coming with me either on 18th may or after because she needs to do her final shopping lol

I recommend send them a letter of complaint and ask about update via fax because then they respond within 72hours otherwise emails are dealt with within 20working days. and thats why i can see a long list of statuses? xD thats pretty much the exact reason why i say ALWAYS send ANYTHING you can think of no matter how stupid it looks or sounds... for example, when you submit JUST photos and a certificate then it shows them that you are wasting their time and your own ...

technically Nikaah is the Marriage... once do the Nikaah then officially shes your wife and NOBODY can do anything about it... HOWEVER, most families in pakistan have a culture if you will that pretty much says you can only live together once you do the wedding because then everyone of your friends ...

Because the solicitors job was probably just to do the paperwork and thats all... even i didnt apply myself for my wife... i got an agent who done it all for me in pakistan, told me what i needed to provide and i did.. he then put it all in order and voilah... my wife went with him and she submitted ...

when you said "My wife has been to UK already"... that to me looked like shes still abroad and only came to visit... because if you applied for a spouse visa then she would still be in uk and all you would be applying for is either an extension or an indefinite leave to remain

The Proofs I sent are pretty Solid ones, as My wife has been to UK already and last time I only submitted the Nikah Nama and Pictures and visa was granted without any issue. Last time what you submitted was enough for a visit visa only... if you're applying for another visit visa then ofcourse that ...
