Hi,
I've got appointment tomorrow to surrender passport,
Firstly, I've got question on the 2nd delivery
Whether we can take self addressed special delivery envelope. 3 of us are applying So, I was thinking of taking 3 self addressed special delivery envlopes.
If we are buying at VFS, how much does it cost? is it worth taking for Post-office?
Self Addressed special delivery is cheaper in post office, don't have to be hardbound envelope, you can just buy normal folding water proof one, which is a grey colour. Buy special delivery for each applicant separately, and clearly right Name of the applicant and the address.
Buying at VFS would cost £15 and from post-office would cost £9.35. If you buy the hard bound in post office, it would cost almost same as VFS, at the time of this posts reply.
Attaching type of special delivery I bought for reference.

Secondly,
I believe they will send back surrender certificate in the special delivery and rest of the original documents separately? is that correct assumption!?
They will send back cancelled passport and the surrender certificate together. They will send cancelled passport and surrender certificate separately
Thirdly,
What original documents do they take along with passport?
All the original documents are checked and returned back at the time of in person submission. Apart from Indian passport, no other original document is taken.
