Hi All
Thanks in advance for all your help!
I am applying for ILR Tier 1 entrepreneur 5 years route with Venture capital 50k investment fund. Please I have some questions.
1. Do I need to clear all unpaid HMRC, govt tax before applying ILR? Even I don't see this as a ground rule but I can't afford to pay all now.
2. If it really impacts do I need to setup a payment plan in HMRC OR I can pay some %10 of the total due before applying and not pay further my results.
3. If I pay a partial amount or set up a payment plan do I need to mention explicitly in my cover letter of application OR not to mention it.
All these above queries are interrelated with each other and I am really confused and worried about.
Please any suggestions etc are highly appropriated and many thanks for your help.
Regards
Vishal

None of those are relevant to your ILR. The tax arrangements are between you and HMRC and you are required to pay them as expected or as any payment plan agreed in place. Note that the things you are worried about do not necessarily matter for immigration purposes

Hi
Can any one please answer the below query as I am applying for ILR very soon.
Job creation query:
Job A
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
emp1 has worked for first 6 months in the calendar year 2024.
emp1 has resigned.
emp2 has worked for the same job for the next 6 months in the calendrer year 2024.
There is no gap in between the 2 employee.
So, will it be calculated a one single FULL TIME job in the same calendar year.
Many Many thanks in advance.

A job is a position in your company and NOT an employee working. A job position has never been required to be filled continuously under the rules. Even if there was a gap, it still makes no difference as long as a POSITION in your company was filled for at least 12 months.

Hi
I am applying Tier 1 entrepreneur ILR, but someone told me if I could try in midnight or early morning I can get priority service/super priority service. Is it true?? As I have a urgency to travel so I am looking for priority service even though in HO site it's clearly written there is no option of priority service for Tier 1 ILR.
Please any suggestions highly appreciated.
Thanks

1. Can you please stop posting your ILR questions in the Tier 1 Ent sub forum!!! Stick to this topic ONLY in the ILR sub forum!!
2. Where does it state your route cannot use Priority Service??
https://www.gov.uk/faster-decision-visa ... ide-the-uk
Application to settle if you work, establish a business or invest in the UK (through form SET(O)) Yes No No
First column of YES is for Priority Service, if it is available. It is not always available. It is also not a guaranteed service.
Char (CR001 not Casa)
In life you cannot press the Backspace button!!
Please DO NOT send me a PM for immigration advice. I reserve the right to ignore the PM and not respond.

Hi
I am applying my Tier 1 ILR very soon. I have few doubts. Can anyone please clarify?
1. I was absent for 179 days in 2022 as i am aware of the cut off days are 180 days. That's the only absence in my last 5 years. but still will the HO might ask any question?
2. I have applied SIA license(door supervisor) and obtained for myself during 2020 but somehow after 6 months HO has revoked my license and sent me an email to state the reason why i need the SIA license under my visa category. But i ignored their email and never replied back. Even i never ever received any email from them further.Too be honest i just applied the SIA license to get an extra added license for my own business premises.
Notes: I recently checked my DBS and it was absolutely fine with no warning etc.
will the HO question me regarding this during my ILR? I am really worried.
Many thanks in advance.
Regards
Milan
