NATIONAL INSURANCE AND VISA EXPIRED

Post by ALLM » Wed Feb 02, 2011 2:34 pm

I have a National Insurance Number, but I have applied for that with my old visa. I have renewed my visa for more 3 years and I got a new job now. I was wondering if my NIN is still ok or if I have to send my new visa copy to HomeOffice to be able to work again.

PS> I know that only having a NIN doesn't mean I am able to work, but I know I am allowed to work because of my visas type, just need to know if anything changes once I have a new visa number

You don't need to do anything. The NI number you were given remains valid irrespective of visa renewal(s) / new visa issuance(s).
