spouse visa checklist

Post by happydays9999 » Sun Feb 11, 2024 11:54 pm

Hi Guys,

My apologies if it has been answered somewhere if so please point it out.

I am getting married end of this month and need help in terms of what documents are required from me and my partner. I want to keep it simple and don't want to add extra papers if not required as i have seen in other threads people have added extra documents.

Partner documents

My partner has passed English B1,
TB certificate.
The Marriage Certificate is due once the nikah done (should it be nadra marriage certificate only or do i have to add some pictures and molvee nikah nama )
Some pictures for the last few years in misc get togethers when i visited pakistan (do i need to give ticket details of when visited and taken picture or just attach pictures of us)

Employment
I have an employment letter covering what's on the home office website fulfilling the salary threshold.
-six months payslips
-six months bank statementts

Accommodation
i live in one bed flat for the past few years and have council tax.
-council tax claiming single person allowance should I remove it ?
-tennancy agrreement (just standard under my name should i ask some specific clauses to be added that it has no objection for my partner to live ?)

Please guide me when do i have to pay IHS charges and how can i apply myself or is it my spouse has to fill it online from pakistan (applciation will be under my name or her )

I can see people adding cover letter not sure what to add in there ?

also do i have to fill in sponsor-a-visa-applicant-form-su07

Thanks
Any other thing am i missing >?

Employment
I have an employment letter covering what's on the home office website fulfilling the salary threshold.
-six months payslips
-six months bank statementts
Letter from employer
The employer’s letter should confirm:

you or your partner are employed there
the job title or position you or your partner hold
how long you or your partner have worked there
the type of contract (for example, permanent, fixed term)
what you or your partner earn before tax and National Insurance
how long you or your partner have been paid your current salary
the payslips are genuine

Accommodation
i live in one bed flat for the past few years and have council tax.
-council tax claiming single person allowance should I remove it ? It is OK
-tennancy agrreement (just standard under my name should i ask some specific clauses to be added that it has no objection for my partner to live ?) Get No objection letter from landlord

Please guide me when do i have to pay IHS charges As you progress with application you will get to the point and how can i apply myself or is it my spouse has to fill it online from pakistan (applciation will be under my name or her ) you can apply yourself I.e. you can fill the form for her or she fills it, does not matter. It will be under her name as she is the applicant.

I can see people adding cover letter not sure what to add in there ? It is not everyone that needs this. Only those who have things to clarify for CW and not clear or contained in form.

also do i have to fill in sponsor-a-visa-applicant-form-su07
NO

Thanks

Spouse Visa Tenancy Agreement and NOC

Post by happydays9999 » Fri Feb 16, 2024 6:55 pm

Dear Members,

Your support is very much appreciated, I have a couple of questions regarding the tenancy agreement and NOC.

I have been living in one bed flat since 2015 and the agreement sign date is 2015, I still live in the same flat and have council tax under my name, my question is since 2015 my rent has been increased the rent mentioned in the contract doesn't match with the bank statements (even though I am not going to submit that bank statement as salary comes into a different account) and it is lower than the market rate, do I need to get a new contract but landlady reluctant to issue new agreement so what should I do? ask a cover letter suggesting rent increased and the new rent amount is xx?

the second question is i have sent a template to the landlady and she copied the exact same thing but whilst copying she forgot to write i but kept it as we, i highlighted it below

This is to confirm that xx has rented one bed flat from me since xx xx 2015. The flat has enough space to accommodate his spouse and we have no objection on accommodating his spouse to be on his rented flat.

Should I get that changed to I or am I thinking too much?

Thanks

Same Tenancy Agreement can be used and proceed as you stated above omin cover letter

the second question is i have sent a template to the landlady and she copied the exact same thing but whilst copying she forgot to write i but kept it as we, i highlighted it below

It can be used as it is If no chance to change it.
Thanks
