UK skilled worker extension

Hello,

I have a skilled worker visa until December 16, 2026. Can I apply for an extension now? I need an extension for only four months.

Why would you want to apply now? You have almost 2 years left.

It's that i need to go for dependent visa extension for family. If I go with the current expiry, I need to go for another extension just for 4 months. So if there is a possibility then I can extend the visa and then apply for dependents.
