Consent Letter for dependant child travelling with both parents

Post by Azm9 » Sat Jan 02, 2021 9:39 pm

Good day everyone.
I need your kind helo in this matter.

I am applying for the Skilled Worker visa from outside the UK, and I am planning to travel with my wife and 3 children. I understand that I have to fill in a separate application for each one of us.
When I apply for my 1st child, the system asks me to bring a consent letter to the appointment.

1- Do I need to prepare and submit a consent letter for my child's visa application even though the child will be traveling with her BOTH parents?
2- Is there any specific format/form for the consent letter?
3- Do I need to sign/stamp the consent form by any witness/authority?
4- Do I need to prepare/submit a separate consent letter for each child or can I just use one single consent letter for all 3 children?

Please help..

Hi,

I am also looking for help with this letter.

1. Is it just a simple letter on white paper confirming each statement?
2. I am already in UK (Tier 2 visa) and dependants (wife and child) are applying together, from outside UK, how does the consent letter work? Should I include both parent names and send the letter from the UK to wife so that she can also sign and later submit? or would my wife's signature alone be fine.

Any thoughts appreciated. Thank you.

Hello Azm9,

I am also in a similar situation. Have you completed your Child DP application ? What are the documents you provided for the visa application? A consent letter is required if child travelling with both parents?

Regards

Hi There...

Thank you very much for your format. That was very helpful. Can you also advise what is

Part 1 - Consent for the Home Office to verify application information,
Part 2 - Consent for the Home Office to verify third party information
Part 3 - Consent for the Home Office to verify information from third party sponsor.

Do I need to fill this as well. Self and daughter applying UK Tier 4 Dependent Partner & Child Visa

Thanking you in adv
