I'm on skilled job tier 2 visa. I'm going to give my timeline first so that it more clearer and then ask the question.
1st visa start date : 15th April 2021
Expiry date: 28th Feb 2024
First entry in uk : 30th April 2021.
Have been here since.
Now as you can see my visa is due to expire on 28th of Feb. I'm planning to apply on 5th of February so that i dont have to pay increased health surcharge and try n get my biometrics date after 15th of march but before 20th March as we get only 45 days after application. So my question is is it the rightway I'm doing it.. Will these days be counted towards my ilr so that I don't have to reapply for work visa again and I can directly apply for ilr when my visa expires next time. I've heard that the stamp that we get on visa is always after the date of biometrics so I don't have to worry about falling short of days for ilr if that make sense.. Any help or input will be highly appreciated. Thanks
