The first application of sponsor license was rejected due to it's actually quite complicated and the employer thought they can deal it solo, after that they found a proper solicitor to work with.
They spent few weeks to make sure all documents will be clear and neat.
My employer finally submitted everything again by mid Nov and got licensed recently. Apart from the pre-work it's approximately 4 weeks.
Thanks eduleal, my prospective employer did email them on 20th December, and got a response on 22nd December that Licencing unit has been made aware of the information, but no further progress after that. Really nervous but guess will have to wait.eduleal wrote:Definitely a benefit in calling the business helpdesk of UKVI as they can really expedite it if your visa is expiring soon. Especially if it's been more than 8 weeks.
My current employer's licence application took exactly 7 weeks from sending the documents.
