Hello there, please help me.
Here is my current situation. i'm currently working as a pharmacy technician(NVQ3) in a community pharmacy.
My employer is happy to sponsor me and he got the sponsorship license as well. We are bit confused which SOC codes to use and the rest of the procedure to get the Tier 2(general) visa. Do I need to be a pharmacist?
I appreciate your replies. please let me know any useful information...
Email
Many thanks.

The job role should be at least NQF 6... so probably only a pharmacist would do! Otherwise your visa will be rejected.

Only if you have an nqf 6 job role.

we got dispensary manager and pharmacy manager under nqf 6 level, my job is more closer to dispensary manager. But i'm not sure community pharmacies can apply under dispensary manager coz I'm thinking it's for NHS. Please advice me on this....

usually, unless there are problems, no more than around 2 weeks. Under the circumstances ask your sponsor to call the UKVI employer helpline 0300 123 4699 to see if it can be expedited.

Hello there, i need information please.
My visa expires on 25th aug 2015 and i'm waiting for allocation for COS which is not sorted yet even though an urgent request sent to helpdesk ON 15th AUGUST 2015. My sponsor has generated the COS and he is waiting for allocation obviously. And now my question is if allocation is not sorted before my visa expires can I overstay?how many days?is it legal?if it is legal where is it mentioned?can i make tier 2 visa application after my visa expiry date?
please answer all my questions if possible.
Many thanks

28 days of overstay is ignored. You must apply for leave within those 28 days.
Overstayers cannot legally work.
Out-of-time application (as an overstayer) if refused will not have a right of appeal / administrative review. Also, making an out-of-time application doesn't make your illegal stay legal.
Life isn't fair, but you can be!

245AAA(a)(iii), 245GD(l), 245GF(h), 245HD(p), 245HF(g)
That means you will remain an overstayer until your out-of-time application is approved and you are granted leave. And will not be able to work during this entire time that you are an overstayer.
Yes, you can make an out-of-time application at a PEO/PSC.

Hi sushdmehta,
I read about FLR(0) application form. I think i would like to apply for this. I approached immigration solicitor as well regarding this, he advised the same thing in order to borrow some more time ultil my COS gets sorted.
I got a positive opinion on FLR(O) instead of overstaying and becoming illegal.
any suggestions.
many thanks
