Post licence priority service/worker priority change of circumstance

Post by Aiex » Wed Apr 19, 2023 1:20 pm

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone had any hints/tips/anything in relation to the post licence priority service.

Our last request for undefined certificates of sponsorship was not granted in full - 100+ requested, 10 granted - we have been trying to use the post licence priority service for three weeks to no avail. You have to email at 9:00:00am and the first 60 requests after this time will receive confirmation that their priority request has been accepted. We have had no issues with this in the past and have benefitted from the service multiple times.

We are unable to be accepted for the priority service - we have tried at 8:59:58am (to account for the delay in the email being sent), 9:00:00am, 9:00:01am, 9:00:10am... basically we have tried everything and unfortunately we are still not getting the priority service. Does anyone have any hints/tips/advice who might've been accepted for the priority service recently? It seems strange that in over 15 attempts we have not been accepted yet a few months back we were accepted each and every time. I even tried sending the requested form at 8:00:00am wondering if they hadn't switched the time when the clocks went forward at the end of last month - still nothing.

We are coming up to the point we have many many visa renewals hence this is really causing a lot of worry and uncertainty! Their current auto response is below:

"Dear sponsor,

Thank you for contacting the Worker and Temporary Worker Priority Change of Circumstance Service.

This is an automated email. If you have sent more information following an information request from a caseworker, you can disregard this message as your email will be forwarded to the caseworker assigned to your case.

The priority service accepts 60 slots per day and is open from 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday. Any requests made outside these hours will not be considered.

As of 23/01/23: The service is extremely busy and we are seeing the full 60 slot allocation reached by around 9:01am. From now, any requests that do not make the 60 slots will not receive a “Daily Allocation Limit Reached” email. If you do not receive a response to your priority email request stating that a payment link has been sent, please assume that the request has not been accepted and it is in your best interest to try again the following working day from 9:00am.

Useful emails:
- General sponsorship queries or queries regarding non-priority cases, please direct them to the “business-as-usual” team at SCOC@homeoffice.gov.uk.
- Queries regarding login issues or other issues of this nature, please direct them to the Business Help Desk at BusinessHelpdesk@homeoffice.gov.uk.
- Queries regarding pre-licence priority applications, please direct them to PreLicencePriorityService@homeoffice.gov.uk.
- Queries regarding non-priority pre-licence applications, please direct them to SponsorLicensingReplies@homeoffice.gov.uk."

Please note this is a question more for approved sponsor licence holders than individuals. It relates to the sponsor priority request and not any sort of application priority processing.

Many thanks in advance for any help.

In a nutshell, the 60 priority spaces are taken up in seconds. There is no method or hint that will help getting one of the 60 spots. I am aware of many sponsors trying for weeks on end without success. There are probably several 100’s of sponsors chasing the 60 spots on any one day..
