Skilled Worker Dependent Visa

Post by rajapillai » Tue Feb 13, 2024 7:35 pm

Hi Experts,

I need an advice on my wife skilled worker dependent visa application which she will be doing from India along with my dependent son who is 6 months old.

I got married on 25/10/2021 and lived together until September 2023 when I moved to UK on Skilled Worker visa. I am now applying for my wife dependent visa. One of the requirements on application is that I have to submit proof of cohabitation. In India, I had all bills in my name and we don't have anything in joint names. Even my wife bank account has got her parents address. In India, its not common to have bills in joint names hence all bills were in my name.

Apart from below documents, I really don't have any other documents in joint names or addressed to same address.

1. Wedding photos
2. Wedding invitation card
3. Marriage Certificate
4. Child passport with parents name.
5. Child Birth certificate with parents name.

I am bit concerned that will my application be refused if I don't submit bills in joint names? Looking forward to some expert advise here.

Thanks
