Tier 2 Dependent visa: can I invite my friend?

Hi. I'm on Tier 2 Dependent visa and living inside the UK. I want to invete the friend of mine to come to visit me. Do I have rights to invite people as a dependent?

1. A friend is not a dependant.
2. Only the principal migrant can sponsor dependant(s).
