The nearest SOC codes would be 2119, 2135 or 2136, the latter two being shortage occupations. The SOC code is to be chosen by the employer, not you. In the CoS the sponsor has to provide the job description
Tier 2 doesn't exist any more, it is now called the Skilled Worker route. You have to prove your suitability for the job to the employer, not to the Home Office
Negotiate the best salary you can, the minima are listed here: https://www.gov.uk/guidance/immigration ... ccupations
if the employer is prepared to sponsor you based on your background that is all that is required
You should be paid at least the minimum which is the going rate for non-shortage occupations (first column in the table) and 80% of the going rate for shortage occupations (3rd column in the table), both based on a 39 hour week. If, for example, you work a 40 hour week the min. salary obtained from the table should be factored by 40/39 and for a 38 hour week by 38/39.DSVJUK wrote: ↑Sat Oct 02, 2021 7:52 pmWhat is the criteria on salary? Is it like I should be given at least the minimum rate ? Then what is the different % bands mentioned ?
Also, could you please explain a bot more about this : Note that shortage occupation salaries are under tradeable option D and all salary rates are for a 39 hour week, other working patterns to be prorated. ?
