Invitation Letter

Hi there

I need to write a letter of invitation for my Serbian friend to visit me here in UK.

Can someone advise me of the things i must include, shall I address it to my friend, or the consulate guy?

Do I need to provide details of my financial standing and my work details?, as she has enough money to cover her own trip, in addition to this she owns property in her country, so hopefully that'll convince them she is not planning to overstay her visa.

Any help much appreciated.

You have to address to UK consulate.
Mention clearly her date of arrival and departure to UK.
If she is arranging her finances herself then you have to mention this in the invitation letter.
If you are looking after her stay in UK then you have to mention this in the invitation letter.
You have to provide 2 address proof ( bills, council tax, any ) and your visa status proof ( visa page) if
you are not UK citizen. Also provide 3 month bank statement.

The purpose of this visit is it to see London/UK attractions.

She will be sponsoring her self for the air tickets but I will be looking after her expenses during her stay in UK and she will be staying with me during her entire stay. On completion of her visit, she will return to HER COUNTRY.

It will be really very kind of you if you could please grant her visitor visa.

Do I really need to provide bank statements?, because she will be paying for her costs once here.

I doubt that my bank statements will have much affect, because I've just started a new job etc, so there aint much in there right now!

I dont want her visa application to fail because of this, what do they want to see on the statements?, regular income or enough money in my account to cover her whilst here?

Is it perhaps best to get someone in my family to send the letter?
