PBS Dependent, Restricted work No Dr/Den Train Or Sportsperson

Post by hondacigeldi » Fri Jan 10, 2020 2:47 pm

Hi everybody, I have TIER 4 dependant VISA and it is written on the BRP (Restricted work No Dr/Den Training)

I applied for a job but the interviewer wanted me to prove that I am eligible to work full time. He wanted a letter but I couldn't find any e-mail to have a letter. Although I found this website which shows the working details I couldn't get any solution to my problem.

What can I do? Please help. They told me that I had to show that I could work full time.

Hi,

As a Dependant of a Tier 4 PBS Visa holder, you have unrestricted right to work in the UK, except that you cannot train/work as a doctor, dentist or sports person.

They seem to be confusing you with a Tier 4 student visa holder. Such a person's BRP says that they can only work full-time in vacations, so for a full-time job they need provide a letter from their university showing term dates.

Your BRP is itself proof that you have no such restriction on working full-time.

If they continue to insist on "a letter", you need to ask what letter they mean. You might want to specifically say "Are you thinking that I have a student visa, so I can only work full-time in vacations?"
I do not give immigration advice. I refer you to Immigration Rules, guidance, other online content and to your sponsor.
