URGENT: Sponsorship licence number not found - ILR APP

Hello,

I am encountering an error while filling my ILR application. When entering sponsor license number at the start of the application, it is giving the below error:

"Licence number not found - please check the number. Enter your employer's sponsor licence number, not your Certificate of Sponsorship (CoS) reference number."

I have entered the exact sponsorship licence number as in my COS and no issues with my employer on licensing as they are showing on the Home office's official register of sponsors.

Did anyone face recently and know a work around it? I have read all the messages in related post and it seems to be there is no solution and we need to wait until it gets resolved on it's own.

Any leads would be greatly appreciated as I want to submit my application ASAP - Thanks a million!

Also to add, I have called the UKVI / Sponsorship helpline and they mentioned it could be a technical glitch but they were not sure about this. They have given an email address of the technical team although I have no idea of how long the resolution timeline is for fixing this error. That's why I am posting here in case anyone has a way around and managed to submit this.

Please do share your thoughts of any similar experiences so I may proceed to submit my application at the earliest.

I'm filling up visa extension application and I'm also getting the same error message. I couldn't proceed further. Surely, it's a technical glitch. Will wait for some time and try again.

@srsw - yeah I checked this - my employer is there on the register so all good.

I also just received an email from my employer that the sponsorship licence number I’ve stated in ILR application is right and should be accepted. They also sent me a copy of my certificate of sponsorship so I cross -checked that and it’s right

Still getting the error on the form - doesn’t detect it :/ I’ve reported this to HO technical team let’s see....

@psrd - ahhh okay - it’s def not the first time this issue has happened as I can see from previous threads lol. Yes let’s keep trying and get each other updated as soon as we get through!

Ive asked my friends who are prospective applicants to try and report the issue so we can get more incidents raised and get resolution earlier than later...
