Visa for Repub of Ireland and channel islands

hello,

i have a UK ILR (permanent residence) and my friend is on T2G (UK work visa), do we both need visa's to enter republic of Ireland? we want to go there for short holiday. Do we need visa to enter isle of man, jersey and Guernsey?'
