SCHENGEN VISA FOR ITALY

Post by sharmap6 » Thu Feb 18, 2016 10:06 am

I am looking to apply for visitor visa (schengen visa) for italy. I am on tier 2 general visa and recently have switched employer and my new job is due to start in mid of march. I have question if i get working certificate from old company and show salary slips will i get visa even though my bio metric card is with new employer.
As i will be leaving my old job by end of this month.

Do italian embassy check which employer is the bio metric card under. Acc to me they just check that you have valid uk visa , rather than which employer is that under.

Its unclear what you mean by working certificate from old company, but biometric card is with new employer.

But you can find the supporting documentation required for a schengen visa application at the Italian embassy under the following site. Note that your UK residence permit (brp) is one that's required. http://it.vfsglobal.co.uk/tourist.html
