Tier 1 Dependent Application

Hi All,
I have applied for Tier 1 General Dependent Visa 10 days back and still they are not saying anything else apart from it would take more time.

Usually how much time is taken for Visa application ?Do they take more time then said ?What are chances of delaying it?
