Tier 1 Dependent Visa

Post by laharisripati » Tue Jul 17, 2012 10:26 am

Hi All

I am on Tier1 General Visa and am planning to switch as a Dependent to my husband who also holds a valid Tier 1 visa.

I am planning to apply it from my home country. I wanted to enquire if the main applicant (my husband) should physically present in the United Kingdom during the course of the application or he can visit to India on a holiday during this time.

There is a question in the application "Where is the main applicant now?" which triggered this doubt.

Also can you please let me know what documents are required for submission from my side as I am working in the UK.

Appreciate your help greatly.

Thanks

Main applicant can be anywhere. Just mention where he will be on the date of application.

for dependent documentation, refer the UKBA website.
