Previous Earning from the work - New HSMP1 Form

Dear all,

I have some questions regarding the Previous Earning from the work secton of the New HSMP1 form.

1) Start and End date of Earning Period.
Should this be the Start and End date of the payment period mentioned on the payment slips or the start and end date of the particular payments made?

2) I do not have the stamp of the company on the payslip; but is signed by the payment officer who prepared and approved the payment slips.
Do I need to get the stamp of the payment slips?

3) Q. 28 of the HSMP1 form.
Relevant Country code from the HSMP guidance notes.
Which is the country code for India? It falls under Band D countries.

4) Q. 31 of the HSMP1 form.
Relevant Income Band from the guidance notes.
There is no band mentioned for a particular earnings.
For Example, for Band D countries, and Earning of 7500+ GBP, what is the Income band?

Question number 28 and 31, were quite clear to answer as per the old HSMP form, as both these were given in the form itself.
Any thoughts on these?

Pls. help to fill up these deatils in the form.

The period u r claiming ur Earning...The 12 month period...Like Dec 05-Nov 06

2) I do not have the stamp of the company on the payslip; but is signed by the payment officer who prepared and approved the payment slips.
Do I need to get the stamp of the payment slips?

If they r on plain paper or online slips, Yes u do need both stamp and sign.

On letter head, sign would be fine.

Which is the country code for India? It falls under Band D countries.

Havent tried Much, I think Shud be 'D' only.

4) Q. 31 of the HSMP1 form.
Relevant Income Band from the guidance notes.
There is no band mentioned for a particular earnings.
For Example, for Band D countries, and Earning of 7500+ GBP, what is the Income band?

You have 45 points if ur earning is 7500 pounds in India.

Thanks for your reply.

Still, I am not getting the specific answer to my questions.

1) Start and End date of the earning period or the dates of the payment made.
e.g. My start and end dates of the payment periods are 21-NOV-05 to 20-NOV-06, but the start and end date of the payment made (by say salary deposit) are 26-DEC-05 to 30-NOV-06.

What should be written in the form, now the date on which the payment was made or the payment period itslef?

2) This answer is clear to me.

3) & 4) These details are not provided in the Guidance notes for the applicants.
If you can tell me your answers for this question it will be helpful for me.
Cause in the old HSMP format, it was given on the application form only, and was quite easy to answer. Now I know that I can claim the 45 points under Band D country (India). I dont know what should be the answer for Q 28 and Q 31 of HSMP1 form

Any thoughts from anyone, who is filling up the form or having a detailed look on the form?
