Some General Questions...

Post by Rajan » Mon Jul 26, 2004 7:13 pm

Friends, Pls help me in these little doubts...

-For cover letter, & other explanations, We should write or computer typing is better? (Don't laugh, pls. My handwriting is too bad  )

- For income proof, we can give FORM 16 (given by company) OR tax return certificate is needed?

- For profession... as i am in IT, What exactly i should mention? Software engineer?, but then my designation is System Analyst OR IT professional 'll do

- As I am an Engineer, will membership to IEEE or Institute of Engineers 'll help me anyway?

Looking for your inputs....

Thanks !

1) type on computer, only fill HSMP form in ur hand writing, rest document better to be typed
2) Give both form 16+ ITR ( Only ITR will not do as it doesnt shows how much salary did u earn as ITR only includes the taxable income whereas only Form 16 shows the complete earned salary in any financial year, so word of advice give both.
3) Should be exactly what is written in ur experince letter for ur current designation i.e. mention you are an IT professional and working on the designation of System anaylist
4) Mentioning about membership will not increase ur points any way but it will be giving more confidence to Case worker for giving u the claimed point if they are valid.

hope it helps!

Raj, HSMP form should be wrote by hand? Is it a official stipulation? I hope to type all the document on computer for fear of some illegible words.
