Doctorate Extension Scheme to Tier 1

Doctorate Extension Scheme to Tier 1

Hello there

I currently have a Tier 4 Doctorate Extension Scheme (DES) visa which is valid until June 2014. I am planning to switch to Tier 1. To switch to Tier 1 from Post Study Work visa, one needs to have access to £50000.

Do I need the similar amount of funds or different funding conditions would be applicable in my case.
