HSMP for spouse

Post by fly2uk » Mon Jun 11, 2007 7:49 am

Hi All,

I am planning to apply for HSMP in July. I have a few queries in this regard.

Do I need to mention that I am married and furnish details [ age, qualification, earnings] of my wife along with my details when I submit the HSMP application? Will it cause any hindrance or increase my chances of approval if I apply for my family [ me and my wife] as a whole.

Or do I apply for HSMP with my own details now and once I get the approval letter, apply for EC along with my wife?

Experienced members please advice. Also anyone who has gone through a similar process, please post your experiences.

Thanks

Hi fly2uk,

You don't need to submit any documents for your spouse while applying for HSMP.. One you get the approval and take your spouse as dependant, you need to submit your marriage certificate to prove that you are married to her.. Apart from that you need to fill a form for her, as well. Investigate more on this front, when the times comes to apply for EC.. Now, stay cool.
Regards,
Debjani.
