Urgent!!! My visa was refused under the paragraph 320 (7a)

Post by Li01 » Fri Aug 22, 2014 6:31 am

I have been kinda depressed about my refusal.

My problem is the following:

I applied for my general visitor visa and gave all the documents they requested. My dad was in charge of the financial responsability for my trip. That's why I asked him to give me a labour certificate, which he gave me with no problem.

Here in my country, the legislation says that if a person works in a company, the company must pay the social security of the employee. In the case of my dad it was different because the owner of the company is a relative and he said there was no need to pay his social security (health and pension) because my dad said he would pay it himself as an independent (which is not legal). I have to clarify that I didn't know anything about this until after the embassy asked me for the two additional documents to prove that the company paid him his social security.

I asked my dad and then he told me all about it. I said OMG! No way!

The labour certificate stated that he was an employee with a contract etc. That's why it didn't match with him paying as an independent. Therefore, the embassy refused my visa under Paragraph 320 (7a) claiming that I provided a false document (the labour certificate).

They say that if I apply again, my visa "may" be refused under paragraph 320 (7b) wich bans me for 10 YEARS!!!

I don't know what to do. I wanna visit my friends. Plus, my boyfriend lives there and I wanna know his family since we have plans to get married in the future.

If I knew my dad worked in that situation I woudn't have told him to sponsor my trip. I would have found another way. I was in ignorance of this. We never meant to give false documents.

I read in the UK GOV webpage that they cannot ban me with the 320 (7B) paragraph for 10 years, if I show I wasn't aware of the false document.

My question is: how can I show I wasn't aware? (because I wasn't, indeed) or what do you think I can do?

Please help me. I will appreciate any hope you can give me.
