Is it mandatory to pay NI payment

Post by ARUNLAL » Sun Nov 30, 2014 1:21 pm

Hi

I need to do my tier 1 visa extension because of the extension end date ie 5th April 2015. I am a IT contractor and this year (only worked) I stated working through my limited company from May 2014 and will be working till March 2015)

I have not made any NI payment because I was drawing 9000 annual salary . I am planning to show my income ( 9k + 26k dividend )

Please let me know if I have not paid any NI amount , will that cause any issue in my visa extension

Thanking you in advance
Arun

It won't cause any issue, So many of friends extended their visa got also got ILR based on (9k + devidends). But make sure you taxes are filed properly. This should be fine for your extension.

Suresh
