Dependent visa deadline

Hi all,

If you could help with the following scenario, that would be great:

I applied as the main applicant (Tier 1 General), and did not submit my wife's application at the same time hoping to do it later once mine got approved. My application has still not come back and the BRP expiry date for my wife is now only a few days away. I have the Tier 1 Dependent form filled out for my wife and my wife can show her own funds in her own bank account but obviously I have no evidence to show as all my documents are with the Home Office. Is this a problem??

Your help would be much appreciated.

They should have a record that your application is with them. Do you have proof of posting?

It was PEO but they wanted further checks.
