Hi,
May be it is ridicules, but I do not really know after I applied for HSMP in UK and meanwhile applying for skilled migrant visa in Australia, Hopefully
Can I have both of them; I mean permanent Visa of UK and Permanent Visa of Australia?

If U qualify for HSMP U will not get Permanenet residence directly. They will just award U LTR fro 2 year after 2 years U need to qualify, if not U r out.

In AUstralia once U qualify U will get pemanenent residence.

So the answer. U will not be able to get permananet resiedence in boath countries.

What I mean exactly is; Can Anybody have two permanent VISA, One permanent visa from UK and the other from AUS? Or, With having AUS permanent visa, can I apply for UK permanent visa as well?

As a follow up to that question, I assume that if you qualify for UK HSMP then you would qualify for skilled visas in most other countries (emphasis on qualify) but out of curiosity, which is better Australia, UK or Canada for highly skilled people considering:
1. promotion prospects and career growth;
2. Ease of visa process ie initial application, residency and citizenship;
3. Local job recruitment recognition of qualifications obtained from overseas? For instance, rumor has it that the local job agencies in Canada are fussy about Canadian experience and qualifications. I don't think thats the case in the UK but I have no clue about Australia.

If U have got ILR in the UK then there is nothing deter U to apply for PR from any other countries. Just be aware that U might loose your right for ILR if U leave UK for quite reasonable time.

Just to Add one more thing regarding Australian residencey.
Once you will PR from Australia that normally comes with 2 years returning resident visa.
If you didn't showup in those 2 years then your PR wil be expired.
So to maintain Aussie PR, you have to come and visit (not sure how long) to Aussie.
