Will PGCE or PGDip count under master's programme in HSMP?

Hi ya.

I have applied for a HSMP approval with a bachelors degree(India) and PGDiploma (UK) but my application was rejected on the basis there was a slight error in the letter where i claimed points for earnings. In the same letter he also mentioned that they dont consider PGDiploma(from UK) as a Master's Degree. If they would have accepted the above I should have got the 75 points in the my first attempt even though i was not able to hit the total points for earnings(got 20 points when I claimed for 30 for earnings). So, when I once again filed an application then I got the approval. I have sent my passport for stamping lastweek and waiting for the passport.

You should ask about the PGCE but a PG Dip is lower than a Master's (as it does not include the dissertation, and is usually only a 9 month course rather than a 12+ month course like a Master's), so it cannot be considered as equivalent.
