August Application - Received documents

Post by MyHSMPApplication » Sat Sep 15, 2007 10:25 am

Chaps,
I received my documents today, however there isn't any letter (approval / rejection) from the home office in the packet.

Mine was an incountry application.

Is it a possiblity that they return the document and that the case is still under consideration.

Cheers

Chaps
Called up the customer contact centre this morning. And they assured me that the application was approved.

They asked me to send a fax stating that the decission letter wasn't present along with the original documents which I did.

Do we require the decission letter for the FLR application?

Cheers

Hi J And Syh

Thanks for your replies.

I placed a call with the HSMP team this morning and they had assured me that the decission letter is not required while applying for the FLR. Also they told me that the most important thing in the application is the HSMP reference number as the WP team will verify against their DB using this reference number.

Just to get the same clarified in writing, I had sent a mail to the HSMP team asking the same. Hopefully they will reply soon.

With regard to SYH's question, I guess this question is directed towards me. If yes, then, I am in UK on work permit and that I have applied for HSMP and got the same approved on the 17th of August 2007.

I am planning for FLR very soon, pbly as soon as this weekend. I am in the process of gathering documents / filling up forms.

Do let me know if you require any further information.

Cheers
PG

Hi PG,
Thanks for good information on your case.
Did you receive the decision letter?

In my case also, they sent me all the documents without any decision letter. Documents were received on 18/09/07. Application submitted from Saudi Arabia on 06/08/07.
I called up the customer contact number for it on 18th Sept and got a reply that HO will reply to my fax request sent by me on this subject within 2/3 days. The lady refused to say anything on the decision.

Ironically, I was informed of the positive response on 14/09/07 when I called for the documents collection by the courier (The documents were collected and hence the decision was informed to me).

Any advise on what is the next step?

Thanks
rpb

Hi RPB72,
I placed a call once again this morning only to get the response that they will send the decission letter by the end of this week.

Still I haven't received any response on whether the decission letter should be provided along with the FLR application.

Cheers
